This is a typical ATEA deskphone from the mid 1920s. The early 1920s had phones with a more ornamental craddle (rather a candlelight) an a straight handset with a pipe. This phone must have been manufactured around 1925, before the take over of the British/American holding in 1926.
The appearance of this phone ressembles to rich people's furniture. I can imagine it standing on a lawyers or doctor's desk. See a 1925 catalogue entry above.
I obtained this phone from telegraph collector Fons in 2013.
