This phone is the standard phone delivered to RTT customers in the 1970s. Made of plastic. Two suppliers were manufacturing this phone BTMC and ATEA. You can recognize this by a "B" (Bell) or "A" (Atea) on the bottom. This particular one is an Atea, with a "A" on the bottom.
The styling was very innovative in the 1970s and this was the first phone of a family of phones with this look. There was also a version with a DTMF keyboard.
The 8100 phone has a similar look, the 8100 is mostly used with a PABX.
This phone was obtained from a collegue.
