LB phone

This phone is a typical phone used by military or railway people on their exchanges. It has been manufactured in the 1930s and 1940s for many years. Basic material is wood, microtelephone is bakelite.

When I obtained this phone, I could order on ATEA the factory assembly drawing E42.501 from the reprographical services archives. First version 1938, final version 1941. Drawing "scrapped" in 1965.

How did I obtain this phone?

This phone was obtained from a flea market, in the beginning of the 1980s. I paid 75 Belgian Francs for it, but I had to clean it very hard.
