This is a manual exchange for 5 lines. Switching is done manual with a switch. There are two speech circuits. THe operator can choose to which circuit a call will be connected

This Private Exchange has been used by the Dutch railways. The logo tells me it has been manufactured between 1939 and 1962. Most likely this must have been assembled after WW II, I guess around 1950.

How did I obtain this phone?

I obtained this exchange from my dutch friend Remco Enthoven
